| Description | Helps Ontarians find sustainable employment * assessment of skills, capabilities, interests and experience * job search strategies, including resume preparation and interview skills * information about different careers and occupations, the local labour market, employment and training opportunities * on-the-job training and/or work experience and, in some cases, additional support to help maintain employment * information about all Employment Ontario programs and services * access to Second Career program to provide laid-off workers with skills training for high-demand occupations * information about, and referral to, other community services and supports. Incorporates services provided through Employment Assistance Services (EAS), Employment Resource Centre and other programs such as LIFE for Youth, Youth Job Connection, Youth Job Connection Summer, Youth Job Link. LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada) also available.* The Youth Job Connection program consists of: Paid pre-employment training, workshops and activities Paid job placement Ongoing coaching |
