Description Offers a wide range of specialized services for expectant parents, young children and teenagers  
 
Services at the Credit Valley Hospital: 
Children's services: assessment, treatment and consultation for children from birth to 12 years old and their families * diagnostic criteria: developmental, emotional, behavioural, interpersonal, and psychiatric problems * special programs for autistic spectrum disorders, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders, and anxiety disorders 
Adolescent services: assessment, treatment and consultation for adolescents ages 13 to 18 years and their families * diagnostic criteria: interpersonal, emotional, behavioural, and psychiatric problems 
POGO Pediatric Oncology Satellite Clinic * provides care for more than 130 childhood cancer patients in the community to help reduce the amount of time to travel to Hospital for Sick Children (Sick Kids) for medical procedures and blood work 
 
Services at the Mississauga Hospital: 
Colonel Harland Sanders Family Care Centre offers a wide range of women's and children's services * Kid's Klinic provides care for children beyond the hours offered by most pediatricians and family physicians 
Autism intervention services * subcontractor for ErinoakKids * provides assessment to determine eligibility for receipt of services and, for those who qualify, a course of Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) 
Infant and Child Development Services Peel * for children 6 years and under with developmental risks * services include home and centre-based individual intervention, community and centre-based group interventions, and community consultations to help maintain children in their community environments 
Pediatrics/Gynecology Inpatient Unit * social worker provides supportive counseling and practical assistance in locating other resources in the hospital and in the community 
Peel Behavioral Services * for children over the age of two and have a developmental disability, autism or PDD * treatment is provided in-home, in daycare settings and in schools 
Pediatric Sexual Assault Services * provides medical care for children under 12 years of age and psycho-educational counseling services for children and their families 
Surgery services * provides surgical procedures for children including tonsillectomies, ear tubes, hernia repairs, etc. 
 
Other services: 
Pediatrics Diabetes Outpatient Clinic: provides both individual and family counseling for coping with a new diagnosis, ongoing struggles with diabetes management * also offers monthly children, youth, and parent support 
Pediatrics Neurology Outpatient Clinic: assists patients and their families for coping with new diagnoses, managing a neurological condition, working with other community services or programs (such as school); finding and connecting to other programs, agencies and funding sources
