Description/Eligibility/Service Details

Description Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) at Trillium Health Partners offers psychiatric or psychological diagnostic consultation, specialized assessment, comprehensive psychosocial assessment, treatment recommendations, stabilization and time-limited individual and/or group therapy for children and youth ages 0 to 17. Our inter-professional team includes psychiatry, psychology and social work.  
Referrals: A centralized intake office provides a single point of entry to CAMHS. 
To make a referral complete the e-fillable Referral Form at WhereToStart.ca and email to info@wheretostart.ca or fax the completed printable version to WhereToStart.ca at 905-696-0352.
Hours Mon - Fri 8:30am-4:30pm, some evening appointments available 
Appointments for assessments are scheduled during the day, follow-up appointments may be available during the day and evening.

Application All referrals for a psychiatric consultation require a written referral from a physician and are screened by an intake specialist at Mental Health Services for Child and Youth, WheretoStart.ca. Parents must have valid Ontario Health Card for children. 
Referrals to community based mental health supports can be made by professionals, parents or guardians.
Fees None - Covered by OHIP
