Description/Eligibility/Service Details
| Description | Group Services offer a broad range of groups and workshops related to child and family functioning in order to help children and youth meet developmental expectations at home, in school and in the community.(visit WhereToStart.ca to learn more and register). - help children and parents develop strategies for coping with the concerns in their lives - provide opportunities for parents and/or children to interact and learn from each other - support youth in developing social and life skills - provide information for parents on specific issues. Group Services are free of charge. A group typically runs for 6-12 weeks and one-session parenting workshops are offered during July and August. EveryMind staff facilitate the groups and childcare is available for most groups. |
