Description/Eligibility/Service Details

Description Provide 3-5 days worth of emergency food supplies to individuals in need. Some financial counselling is also available to assist clients  
 
Appointments can be arranged on an emergency basis 
 
Due to COVID-19 clients are asked to remain in vehicles and a hamper will be brought out by volunteers
Hours Wed 11:30am-12:30pm * Thu 6:30pm - 7:30pm; first come, first served.

Dates Year round except statutory holidays, closed when Upper Grand School Board has a no bus day due to inclement weather.
Areas Served Amaranth - North Part ; Melancthon ; Mulmur ; Shelburne
Eligibility Individuals accessing the support must sign a consent form which allows the foodbank, if necessary, the opportunity to ensure that the request has not been duplicated in another community.  
A financial checklist is used to ensure that the applicant is eligible for assistance
