Description A community resource providing support to anyone affected by a relative or friend’s drinking 
 
A Twelve Step mutual support group resource with member facilitated meetings for adults and teens affected by a relative or friend's addiction or use of alcohol. Al-Anon, which includes Alateen for teenagers, is a separate entity from Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) 
 
Al-Anon 
 
•non-professional, self-supporting, spiritually based, apolitical 
•members share as peers how they apply the Al-Anon/Alateen program to their lives to solve common problems  
•based on the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions adapted from AA
