Description/Eligibility/Service Details

Description A collaboration of community based organizations supporting Women and Children affected by family and intimate partner violence across the Peel Region. Program provides therapeutic, educational, and skill-building supports focused on recovery from family violence 
 
Programs include: 
 
HEAL counselling 
Healing Together: A 7-week psychoeducation group 
HMCSAT (Helping Mothers and Children Survive Abuse Together): A 9-week therapeutic group that supports both mothers and children 
In-school Youth Groups 
Educational Workshops
Hours Mon 9am-5pm * Tue-Thu 9am-8:30pm * Fri 8:30am-4:30pm 
Services are available in Mississauga by appointment
Areas Served Peel Region
Eligibility Services for people living or working in Peel and Dufferin. Counselling and therapy programs serve ages 12 and up. The HEAL Programs serve ages 5 and up. For children under 12, the presence of a parent or a responsible adult is required at the first meeting
